
Dr. Calvin Chan

Dr Calvin Chan is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and interventional Endoscopist with expertise in therapeutic endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP. He graduated in medicine from the University of New South Wales and completed general gastroenterology and hepatology training at Royal North Shore Hospital, before undertaking fellowship training in therapeutic endoscopy at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
Dr Chan is a Visiting Medical Officer at Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital, and a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist at Nepean Public Hospital.

He is accredited with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia to perform gastroscopy, colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP.
​
Dr Chan’s interests include general gastroenterology, biliary and pancreatic disease, Barrett’s oesophagus, bowel cancer screening, and therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr Chan is actively involved in clinical research and teaching. He is a clinical lecturer with the University of Sydney has publications in multiple peer-reviewed journals. He has presented in national and international gastroenterology conferences. He is reviewer for several gastroenterology journals.​
