Dr. Eva Zhang

Dr Eva Zhang is a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist. She graduated with distinction from the University of New South Wales. She underwent her advanced training at Royal North Shore Hospital and completed a fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) at Royal Melbourne Hospital. 

 

She has expertise in managing general gastroenterological conditions including iron deficiency, reflux, hepatitis B, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and bowel cancer screening. Her special interest is in the field of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and she is currently undertaking a PhD in this field. Dr Zhang is International Bowel Ultrasound Group (IBUS) and GENIUS accredited in intestinal ultrasound. She has an active research interest and has presented at both national and international conferences. â€‹

Dr Zhang is accredited to perform gastroscopies and colonoscopies by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCTGE). She can speak Mandarin and Cantonese.
