Dr Darke graduated from the University of Sydney in 1999 and commenced his medical career as an intern at Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital in 2000.  He gained his FRACP in 2008 after undertaking advanced training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Nepean Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

 

Dr Darke has been practicing as a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist in the Pennant Hills area since 2009. He has also maintained strong ties with Hornsby Hospital, where he is the current acting Clinical Director of Medicine and Intensive Care. Dr Darke strives to provide high quality consultative and endoscopic services to all his patients. His areas of special interest include bowel cancer screening and prevention, coeliac disease, oesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr Darke is also actively involved with medical student and junior medical officer teaching and training.​
